Notes: Mary's birth has
been difficult to determine in view of stated place of birth on Censuses. Help
has been given by another descendant of Thomas Fletcher who has a family bible.
It seems that Mary and her siblings were christened at Holy Trinity, in central
Coventry, but, confusingly, several state on Censuses they were born at Exhall
, Coundon or Keresley. It is possible that the family lived in the countryside
to the north west of Coventry but maintained a connection with the central
Coventry areas where the family came from. |
